I live in SF, possibly the greatest city in the world. I've traveled a hell of a lot so I feel pretty confident that I can say that with authority. I'm an Air Force Brat and lived mostly overseas as a kid. My mom was German. I speak German. I speak French. I see so-and-so's underpants...wait that doesn't rhyme. I'm not a poet but I like words. I dreamed of being a writer as a kid. Or a librarian. I love the bookmobile and my husband makes fun of me for it. I'm a working parent, currently the breadwinner in our household and proud of it. If you read my blog brace yourself for lots of sappy commentary about my gorgeous, talented, feisty, wonderful daughter.
